In 2013 the executives at Halls, Kansas City’s premiere luxury store, landed in our conference room to discuss their future needs. With an iconic store closing, construction beginning on a new shopping destination and an apparent need to reach the millennial generation, everyone agreed an “overHall” was in order. We were privileged to support Halls with its digital marketing efforts to the millennial audience through a custom-built blog with fresh content published frequently, as well as a full-fledged digital campaign, including online advertisements, video and landing page. OverHalled is sure to make a splash.

The company formerly known as Mr. Goodcents approached Brockton Creative Group during its re-branding to become Goodcents Subs. Not only did its website need an overhaul, but it wasn’t functioning properly and corrupting many of its franchise communication tools. The employee training modules, resources for franchise owners and franchise email lists all went kaput. The BCG team needed to re-create these features to give Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs a fresh look and new set of tools.

A few months ago, our good friends at Thinking Bigger Business Media posed a simple question to us: could we implement a better shopping cart into their site? Known for being an organization that publishes advice articles and hosts networking events for small businesses, their mantra is to think bigger. So, we challenged them to do the same thing. Why stop at just the shopping cart? What if we holistically thought bigger and streamlined the entire website? The Thinking Bigger folks know all about helping businesses meet their goals, and what content entrepreneurs want to read about. It was up to us to find the best way to showcase their work.

Thinking Bigger hosts an annual ceremony to recognize 25 outstanding Kansas City businesses with 25 employees or less. This past year they came to us with the title ‘The Anatomy of Thinking Bigger’ and gave us the opportunity to create the branding for the ceremony. Our design gives emphasis on the human anatomy and incorporates the Thinking Bigger color scheme.

The Travel abroad and Engineering departments at Mizzou came to us for help in promoting their programs. We were tasked with creating posters and t-shirts to create excitement for the program, and really enjoyed our trip to Columbia to do some brand research and gain some inspiration (even our KU and KSU grads on staff will admit they had a great time!)  The end results were stunning graphics that captured the majesty of foreign lands, and an eye-popping t-shirt design that would make anyone on campus want to stop and read. We’re pretty stoked to be able to add these designs to our portfolio.

The number of running, walking and riding events have increased dramatically over the years, but the process to submit an application for these events was drastically dated. We learned KC Race Day’s process backwards and forward, and then created a custom online application. Through this very tailored form, we were able to not only streamline the application process, but provide a site that will act as a resource for giving the latest on race events throughout the city.

In October 2012, the team at Shoot Straight Creative introduced us to 3Marthas and its unique line of Made With Love in Dallas baby apparel and accessories. The line consists of 19 patterns, 5 monograms, and more than 8 different product categories with new options coming in every season. Since 3Marthas showcases at wholesale markets, they needed a way to display all of the options they have to buyers around the country. With hand-drawn elements in an organized layout, we were able to give them a catalog that can be easily updated and repurposed as the brand grows.

Celebrating their 10 year anniversary, one of Kansas City’s favorite restaurants, Nick and Jake’s sought out BCG to develop a fresh look and new website. The goal for refreshing their identity is to welcome a new younger demographic to the Nick and Jake’s family while remaining true to their loyal and long-time patrons.

This full rebrand consisted of everything from photo-shoots and a new and improved website to new menus, gift cards, collateral, signage, tagline explorations, business cards, letterhead and more. We friggin’ love this place, so needless to say, we were very excited to work on this project.
